The Society of Philippine Surgeons in America, which was founded in 1972, is a professional association of Filipino-American Surgeons in the United States and Canada, whose membership includes past and present Fil-American surgeons in the academe (professors, clinical instructors, and department chairmen of renowned medical centers in the country) and those in the various disciplines in the practice of their surgical specialties and subspecialties, from general surgery to vascular, gastrointestinal to thoracic, from neurosurgery to cardiac surgery. We are also proud to be associated with our brethrens and surgical colleagues in the Philippine College of Surgeons in the Philippines.
